IEO has adopted an innovative Translational-Research approach, based on Multidisciplinary Programs with the following features:

Hosting and integration of all required program team members: Doctors, Clinical Scientists, Translational Scientists and Basic Scientists
Focus on homogenous clinical-scientific areas, such as Tumour Types or Treatment-Modalities
Availability of enabling research-platforms aimed at providing clinical and research services

Each Multidisciplinary Program involves several Divisions, Units, and single professionals, dedicated to the objectives of the program and who come from different disciplines.
