The European Institute of Oncology has earned the title of “Best Workplace in Italy 2006”. The survey, conducted by the Great Place To Work Institute, which has been present in the United States for over 20 years and is now in its fourth year in Italy, annually awards the title of “Best Workplace in Italy” to the 35 best workplaces in the country. The European Institute of Oncology is ranked 18th on this prestigious list. This important award follows the ones on year 2005 and 2003.

The Great Place to Work survey awards companies based on the quality of the relationship between employees and the organisational environment, understood as:

• corporate management
• work performed
• colleagues

The first relationship is characterised by the level of mutual trust between the management and the individual; the second one by the sense of pride in various aspects, ranging from the type of work to the company’s image and its social responsibility; the third one by the team spirit and friendship felt within the organisation.
