The Municipality of Milan has established in via Ripamonti 202 the new facility for the daily low cost accommodation reserved for the patients’ family members of the European Institute of Oncology and all those who seek support in the city.
The service is designed for all the people who want to rest and relax after the night of hospital care. The property has 4 bedrooms, for a total of 10-12 beds, with showers and toilets, as well as a laundry room with dryer and a common area with tables, chairs and a kitchenette.
The staff and services of the hotel are currently guaranteed by three women among those who have turned to the Association “House of battered women” and have found in the development of this business project an opportunity for social reintegration. The initiative combines the personal and professional liberation of female victims of violence with the hospitality needs.
