For the head and neck tumors the main treated ones are:

- Neoplasms of the thyroid
- Neoplasms of the salivary glands
The approach of the Division is based on the acquisition of new knowledge on the biological behavior of these tumors in order to treat each patient with personalized treatments, using innovative therapeutic agents with the aim of increasing the survival rate and lead a better quality of life.
The Division is a part of the multidisciplinary team composed of surgeons, radiotherapists, pathologists and radiologists.
