In the days leading up to the appointment, following agreement with the patient, a Case Manager from the IEO Check Up team will contact you by phone to discuss your medical history to get a general clinical overview of the patient.

On the day of the Checkup, the patient will arrive at the European Institute of Oncology at the agreed time and will be able to use one of the European Institute of Oncology check reserved parking spaces located in front of the entrance to Hall B - European Institute of Oncology, Building 1

The patient can await the analysis and examinations in the dedicated lounge where there will be a number of services available to them, including Wi-Fi, newspapers and mini-bar. During the various procedures, there will always be a member of European Institute of Oncology staff on hand to assist them

The European Institute of Oncology Checkup concludes with the exit examination, time used for a discussion with a European Institute of Oncology specialist, during which the reports gathered during the examinations will be analyzed. The patient’s general clinical overview will be outlined and any further investigations to be performed will be identified. Additionally, the specialist will suggest useful advice concerning lifestyle, nutrition and physical activity.
