To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we continue to monitor the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and to proactively ensure that our patients and staff remain safe and protected, according to the Lombardy and national guide-lines.

For your access in the hospital, you must respect some rules in order to limit Covid-19 contagion.

BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL AT IEO

1. You must fill-in the questionnaire you will receive by SMS at the phone number you gave us two (2) days before your appointment to evaluate if you are eligible to come to IEO. Your appointment will be postpone if:

• you have symptoms of or a suspected/confirmed diagnosis of Covid-19.
• You have been in contact with a person with suspected or confirmed positive for Covid-19.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT AT IEO

1. You should come alone: you can be accompanied by a caregiver only if you are not self-sufficient or if requested by the IEO staff.
2. You should arrive 30 minutes before your appointment with a surgical mask or non-valved FFP/N95 (this includes both the patient and the possible caregiver)
3. During your stay at IEO, you will be asked to respect the following rules:

• use the mask in the correct way (nose and mouth must be covered)
• wash your hand frequently with soap or hand sanitizers for at least 20 seconds
• do not touch your face with the hands
• keep 1 metre distance from other people

If you are at the IEO for the pre-hospitalization you will undergo a nose-pharyngeal swab, whose result will be available before you hospitalization.

For the safety of our patients and staff, we are limiting the number of people in our hospital, in particular in the different wards.
